When should you eat fruit?

The UK government says you should eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg every day.   My doctor says eating 5 bananas each day is too much.

Therefore eat at least 2 portions of fruit per day (and 3 of veg) and make sure to vary your fruits. Cant think of which fruits to try. Here is an a to z of fruits which should give you a few good ideas.

 

When should you weigh yourself?

If you weigh yourself every single day you can get obsessional about minute fluctuations. Over the course of a normal day your weight should go up and down by about 2.2lb, so it is a much better idea to weigh yourself once a week. If you are trying to loose weight, why not try a Wii fit. I really enjoy using ours and the weight loss effect is dramatic.

In addition, weigh yourself at the same time of day (before breakfast perhaps) so that you get the most accurate weight.
